The most common question we get is "how much will it cost?" Junk removal is priced by volume — that is, how much room your stuff takes up in the truck — not by the hour and not by weight (with a few heavy-material exceptions like concrete and dirt). Here's how to think about it.

Volume tiers, from one item to a full load

Picture the truck bed divided into fractions. A single chair or a mini-fridge is a minimum charge. A few pieces of furniture might be an eighth or a quarter of the truck. A garage full of odds and ends could be a half or three-quarter load, and a whole-house or estate cleanout can be one or more full truckloads. The more space you fill, the more it costs — but the per-item cost drops as the load grows, so combining items into one pickup is the best value.

Load sizeRoughly what fits
Minimum / single itemOne appliance, mattress, or piece of furniture
1/4 truckA small room's worth — a few furniture pieces
1/2 truckA packed garage or a large room cleanout
3/4 truckMultiple rooms, a big garage plus yard debris
Full truckA whole-house or estate cleanout's worth

What affects the price

Always up-front, never a surprise

Whatever the job, you get a firm price when the crew arrives and sees what's going — before any work starts. No hourly meter, no hidden add-ons. If the number doesn't work for you, there's no obligation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum charge?

Yes. Even a single small item has a minimum that covers the truck, fuel, labor, and disposal. Combining items into one pickup gets you the best value per piece.

Why can't you give an exact price over the phone?

Volume pricing depends on how much room your items actually take in the truck. A photo gets you a close ballpark; the firm price is confirmed on arrival before any work begins.

Are there extra fees for certain items?

A few items carry disposal fees because of how they must be handled — appliances with refrigerant (freon), tires, and some electronics. We'll tell you up front if any apply.
